McKinney-Vento (首页less) Student Services

学生 and families who lack fixed, 常规的, or adequate housing due to eviction, 家庭冲突, 自然灾害, or other reasons related to economic hardship are eligible for services provided by The Ann Arbor Public Schools as required by the McKinney-Vento 首页less Assistance Act. District services address the specific challenges that students experiencing residential transitions may face in enrolling, 参加, and participating fully in school. The goal is to promote school stability and success for all students.

学生 are eligible for educational services that remove barriers and support achievement. 这些包括:
- Immediate or continued enrollment in school
- 运输 assistance (students and families)
- Free school meals, supplies, and resources
- Academic support/ recovery
- Fee waivers (for some AAPS programs)
- Referrals to educational and community services

A request for services may be initiated in the following ways:
- 通过提交WISD Education Project referral online (includes temporary residence statement). A copy will be sent to the district liaison and your school office.
- In person at your school by contacting the office, counselor, principal, or McKinney-Vento school ally
